Introduction to

Computers Classes
It's never too late to learn how to do something new! The vast array of information and opportunities that are only available online and through computers is staggering.  If you don't know how to use a computer the learning curve can seem daunting. Instead of trying to learn how to use computers on your own, consider taking a free class at the library. They are 1 hour a day for three days. After the class you can stay and "play around" on the computers to get more experience too! The next classes will be held at the Seminole County Library, August 5-7 and at the Decatur County - Gilbert H. Gragg Library on August 19 - 21st from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. You need to register by calling 229. 524.2665 - Seminole and 229 248-2665 - for Decatur to insure you have a spot waiting for you!

Learn computer basics at the library with this three-day course. This course is designed for those with little to no computer experience. Topics covered include: Introduction to Computers, Introduction to Microsoft Word 2010, and Introduction to the Internet. Each session is 1 hour long and attendance is required on each day.

We will be available to come out to back to school nights to make sure all children have access to books.  September is national library card sign up month. During August and September we will get as many children and their parents signed up as possible!
