Ask the Techs Tuesday, February 7th at 10:15AM Tuesday, February 21st at 10:15AM Peirce Conference Room Need help with using your computer/laptop, cell phone, or tablet? Ask the Techs! Here’s your opportunity to ask your computer and other device questions of knowledgeable peers. Tech volunteers will be there to answer your questions on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month at from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. If there are other “techies” interested, they will be most welcome to come and join in providing help with devices. This is a drop-in program and no registration is necessary!

Agawam Public Library Community Room Local Archivist Cliff McCarthy's research highlights the stories of those African Americans who lived in the Pioneer Valley and took action, whether successful or unsuccessful, to secure their freedom or the freedom of others. He will also discuss the ongoing Documenting Early History of Black Lives project. This project aims to ensure that all groups of people have access to their past. Check out our new Book Talk & Swaps! This is your chance to visit the library, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or tea, and join a group discussion about books. Participants are invited to share their favorite book, or a book they're currently reading or listening to. Let us know why you like it, why it's your favorite, or why you would (or wouldn't!) recommend it! Patrons may also bring a book to swap. This program is free of charge and all are welcome!

We'll show you the essentials on how to find and borrow new eBooks and audiobooks, along with some helpful hints and tips. Feel free to bring your smart devices and/or your e-Readers with you to the class. You will need your library card and your PIN/password to set up Libby, so please try to make sure you have those ready to go in advance! Art Displays Photographer Kevin Fay Fay will primarily display landscape photos of the mountains and shores of the U.S. on the Gallery Walls. Cityscape images will also be displayed including photos from Springfield, NYC, Paris and France. Artwork is available for viewing during regular library hours.
