Register for Summer Reading Fun
|
|
Libraries Rock this summer, and we’ve got exciting changes in store for this year’s Summer Reading Fun! Track Your Reading in Beanstack There’s a great new way to record your reading this summer. Register online with our new reading tracker, Beanstack. This year, you can log points and earn badges by reading and completing activities (such as attending library programs and visiting a Forsyth County park). On Beanstack, you’ll also be able to write or draw book reviews, receive reading recommendations, and access book lists. Win Badges & Prizes Plus, kids, teens, and adults can earn fantastic new prizes! Our generous community has donated lots of wonderful rewards for Summer Reading Fun, including $5 action passes from Stars and Strikes and coupons for free treats from Wendy’s, Chick-fil-A, Zaxby’s, and Dunkin Donuts. But that’s not all! When you reach 500 points, you’ll earn an entry into our Grand Prize drawings for preschoolers, elementary-aged children, teens, and adults. Grand Prizes include mountain and cruising bikes donated by Zaxby’s, a horseback riding adventure for four donated by Gold City Corral, eReaders donated by FCPL Friends & Advocates and Modern Woodmen, and gift certificates for restaurants and entertainment. Early Registration Open Now Registration for Summer Reading Fun begins early this year and everyone who registers by May 24 will be entered in a raffle. One lucky winner from each library branch will receive five free passes to the Cumming Aquatic Center! Register today at forsythpl.beanstack.org, then return on May 25 to start tracking the books you read and the activities you complete this summer. Rock out this summer and come see what’s new at your library!
