Young Rembrandts - Pete the Cat (K-2)
Young Rembrandts’ unique, proven method and step-by-step curriculum dispel the myth that art is a talent a child has or doesn't have, and demonstrates that art can be learned by all children. Young Rembrandts provides a wonderful experience for young artists with engaging and exciting drawings that will challenge their artistic skills. Drawing & Painting (Ages 7 - 12) Learn to turn drawings into beautiful painted masterpieces. For kids who think they might be interested in drawing and/or painting, join an instructor for Forsyth County Parks and Recreation for this one-time sample class. All materials are provided, and participants should wear "art" clothing as the materials used are non-washable acrylic paints and other media. Ballet Combo Class (Ages 3 - 6)
Think your child might be interested in ballet? Join this one-time sample class and find out! Since ballet is the basis for all dance technique, its combination with other dance forms works well. The technical training taught through FCPRD ballet classes helps teach the proper shifting of weight and patterns in movement for other dance forms. This class is for children ages 3 to 6.
