Narinder Bazen explains the alternative choices available to individuals and families at the end of life and details services typically available with Death Midwifery and Home Funerals.
Ms. Bazen is not in the medical field and will not be speaking from a medical point of view. Rather, she will serve as the voice of experience of one who has knelt beside the beds of the dying, stood graveside with families, and who has spent hours with their communities creating calm and sacred space in those final days.
She works alongside hospice and funeral directors, she does not duplicate them. Ms. Bazen will share stories and talk with participants about a new way to look at death, dying, and after-death care.
