Enjoy your spring break staycation at the library! We've planned a full slate of activities, including art workshops, mini golf and gaming challenges, Touch-a-Truck, martial arts classes, poetry slam, fairy tale book buffet, and a meet-and-greet with Paddington Bear! Forsyth Digs Earth Day Saturday, April 21 at 10:00 a.m. | Cumming Library Patrons of all ages can tour The Secret Garden to learn about drought-tolerant shade plants and get tips on selecting the right plant for the right place in your own landscape. Join a scavenger hunt and plant an herb to take home! Dig into Earth Day: Planting for Pollinators and People Saturday, April 21, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. | Hampton Park Library Patrons of all ages are invited to visit the community garden to plant seedlings and learn how to help provide food and shelter for pollinators in your own backyard. Garden-friendly attire (hats, gloves, sunscreen) is recommended.

Pirates Ahoy!: Standing Ovations Readers Theater Troupe Monday, April 23 at 6:00 p.m. | Post Road Library This month, our script lets kids in grades 3 through 5 take on the role of pirate kings and queens! Performers will choose their roles, rehearse simple blocking and improvise props and costumes, then put on a show for family and friends.

Sharon Forks Library Reopens

Construction is complete at the Sharon Forks Library and patrons returned to see their new library at the Grand Reopening on Saturday, March 24. Thanks again to our patrons for their patience and support during the construction and renovation project. We are so happy to welcome you back to a lovely new space!
