FCPL is thrilled to offer another session of Beginner Computer Classes for Adults starting on Friday, January 9. This series of classes will be held in the computer lab of the library administration building, adjacent to the Cumming Library.
Classes will be offered for 8 consecutive weeks, from 9:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. each Friday morning from January 9 through February 27.
Note: If you participated in these computer classes last winter/spring, please refrain from attending this session so other patrons may participate.
These exclusive classes will focus on Microsoft Office products, the Internet, and more. Each class is limited to 12 participants, so please be sure you register in advance if you wish to attend.
Ms. Elizabeth Ortiz will instruct this session of classes. She is an instructor at Lanier Tech and has years of experience teaching computer classes.
Please register below for each of the 8 classes separately. Patrons do not have to register for all 8 classes. Simply register for as few or as many as you like. See below for curriculum covered in each of the classes. Note that some topics are covered for multiple weeks. In those cases, please register for all of the classes covering that topic.
For example, the week 2 and week 3 classes will both focus on the Internet. Week 3 will build upon the skills learned in week 2, so it is suggested that patrons register for both classes if interested in learning more about the Internet.
These classes are sponsored by the FCPL Friends and Advocates.
