Library Announces Longer Weekday Hours
|
|
Forsyth County Public Library is pleased to announce expanded weekday hours at all four of its branches, effective January 7, 2019. Libraries will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, giving patrons both earlier and later access to materials, computers, and all library services. The library will continue to be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.

FCPL cardholders can access the complete archive of National Geographic magazine — every page of every issue — along with a searchable collection of books, maps, images, and videos in the National Geographic Virtual Library. This collection also includes National Geographic Kids with a complete run of the magazine from 2009 to the present, as well as books, videos, and images to take kids on amazing adventures in science, nature, culture, archaeology, and space.

Important Information About Reserving Rooms for Public Use
|

In November, Forsyth County Public Library announced that it will not accept future reservation requests for use of meeting rooms and conference rooms from January 1 to January 14 as a new reservation system is installed and configured. For instructions on reserving a study room during this period, and for information on future reservations, please visit the Bookmarked blog. We appreciate your patience during this process.
