Winnie the Pooh Movie Party Monday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m. All ages are invited to this special storytime featuring Winnie the Pooh! We'll read some stories, sing some songs, do a craft, then watch the movie Disney's Winnie the Pooh (2011, rated G). No registration required.

Stranger Danger Monday, April 4 at 3:15 p.m. Deputy Justin Weinmann from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office will teach this program to children on how to stay safe. No registration required. Recommended for kids ages 4 - 8.

Puppetpalooza Tuesday, April 5 at 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.
It's time for our annual Spring Break Puppetpalooza! Join us for some of our favorite puppet shows, dancing, singing, and more! All ages welcome and no registration is required.

Kids CrochetTuesday, April 5 at 1:00 p.m. Learn to crochet and knit some simple, colorful and creative projects – especially for kids – that you can keep! Yarn and needles will be provided. This program is recommended for kids ages 9 -12. Please register here to attend.

Red Cross Pillowcase Project Wednesday, April 6 at 10:30 a.m. The Pillowcase Project, sponsored by Disney, is a preparedness education program for children in grades 3-5, which teaches students about personal and family preparedness, local hazards, and basic coping skills. Red Cross volunteers will lead students through a “learn, practice, share” framework to engage them in disaster preparedness. Upon completion, students receive a sturdy pillowcase in which to build their personal emergency supplies kit. Grades 3-5 only, please. Please register here to attend.

Paws to Read Wednesday, April 6, 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Paws to Read is for grades K and up and gives patrons an opportunity to read and relax with a certified therapy dog while improving literacy skills. Drop in between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Registration is not required.

Readers TheaterThursday, April 7 at 1:00 p.m. Readers Theater is a strategy that gets children reading aloud with comprehension, expression, fluency, and joy. Have fun reading aloud from scripts adapted from popular children's books. No memorizing; just reading and acting out fun parts as a group. Grades 2-5 only, please. Registration is not required.

I Like My Stories: A Groovy Pete the Cat StorytimeThursday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m. Pete the Cat is visiting the library! We'll be reading our favorite Pete the Cat books, singing songs, and making crafts. Make sure to bring your camera for a special meet and greet with Pete himself! This program is for all ages! Registration is not required.

Read, Build, Play Friday, April 8 at 11:15 a.m. Read, Build, Play is an interactive story time that encourages development of early literacy in preschoolers. It includes stories, music, activities, and play time with Duplo Legos all related to a creative theme.
For ages 2-5. Registration is not required.
