Last month we asked you to tell us something you're grateful for this year about your library and your responses did not disappoint! Here are a few we'd like to share:
"I am thankful for your Books and Babies program! It's helped my daughter learn more skills, while getting me out of the house and around other mommas."-Chelsea
Thank you Chelsea! Books and Babies takes a brief break in December but resumes its regular schedule at all four branches in January.
"I am grateful for your study rooms… a public place to meet others while still being private. Thank you!"-Lisa
We love to hear that, Lisa. All four of our libraries have small study rooms which can be reserved up to three days in advance for two hours or less per day. We also have larger conference rooms and meeting rooms for bigger groups. Reserve a space for your next meeting HERE.
"My adult children continue to be avid readers with actual books due to your storytimes. They really enjoyed going! Thank you for all you do!" -Donna
You are speaking our love language, Donna! Delivering interactive storytimes that engage families and make children fall in love with reading is one of our favorite things. We offer a variety of storytimes each week for various ages at all four of our locations.
Thank you for sharing how your library has made a difference in your lives! We so appreciate your input and invite you to reply to this email with additional feedback.
This month we're compiling a list of our patrons' favorite reads of 2022. Please tell us which book most resonated with you in 2022 with this short Google form. We'll share the results in next month's newsletter.
Until then, wishing you all the joys of the season!

Featured Resource: Consumer Reports
Have any upcoming purchases you'd like to research first? Consumer Reports is free to Forsyth County Public Library cardholders, and we have a variety of ways you can access it!
If perusing paper magazines is your thing, stop by any of our libraries to browse available issues published over the last 12 months.
If you're searching for information about a particular item, an online search of the Consumer Reports database might be easier. Visit our alphabetized eResources page and navigate to Consumer Reports to get started. Stop by or call us and one of our helpful librarians can walk you through it if you need any help.
This was such a popular series in 2021, we couldn't wait to return to the Scene of the Crime in January! Warning: some of these programs contain very graphic content and are intended for adults only.
Mark your calendars! The popular Great Decisions series returns to the Cumming Library for 8 weeks beginning January 18, 2023. Fascinating and timely geopolitical topics are selected annually by the Foreign Policy Association presented by faculty from the University of North Georgia.
