Lots of you are asking when the library building is going to open again. We have started up our Takeout by appointment service so that you can borrow physical items like magazines, books and DVDs. You can still access all our online services like eBooks, magazines and online courses. Do you know someone who doesn't have their library card yet? They can sign up online for that too! We are working on a plan to open the building again in a way that is safe for staff and for you. It probably goes without saying, but things won't be "back to normal" for awhile, but at each stage of our opening plan we will make sure to keep you informed by email and social media. If you have any questions, comments or just want to say "Hi!", please call us at 250-352-6333 or email us at library@nelson.ca

We want to read your memories, stories, poems, comics or other creative storytelling methods to help us look at the role the library has played in your past, present, or even what you think it might look like in the future.
