We're hiring Summer Reading Club Coordinators! Do you like working with kids, love reading and libraries, arts and crafts, and are you tech savvy? Do you work well as part of a team? The Summer Reading Club Coordinators organize and deliver daily activities and programs for children ages 6-12 over the summer. This is a temporary full-time position (June 21, 2021- August 13, 2021). Must be 15-30 years of age.

In the Digitization station you can convert old cassettes, vinyl and VHS to digital. You can also scan old slides, negatives or photos. Create and edit your media with the Media Station featuring a MS Surface Studio 2 with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for design, video and photo editing, web, UX and more. Waiting Well Boxes for Teens Teens, how do you wait well? Pick up a Waiting Well Box at the front desk for some ideas. Each box contains: - flower seeds (plant them & watch them grow - slowly).
- a novel (get lost in another world to pass the time).
- a craft kit (develop a new hobby).
- stamped postcards to connect with friends & family (snail mail is slow but guaranteed to make someone’s day).
- a reading list of books with a waiting theme.
- a Kindness Bingo game (studies say that caring for people is one of the best things we can do when we wait).
