The tour includes the story of how the beloved Library Lions got their names, a brief description of the building’s Beaux Arts architecture and modern South Court addition, and visits to its most famous rooms. Along the way, you will learn about some of NYPL’s greatest benefactors and most famous patrons, and why it has a “lovebirds’ corner.
