Summer Teen Book Box Registration Now Open! May-June-July Boxes
Sign up by May 8th to get a box in May! Otherwise, you can still sign up ASAP to join us for June and July! Each box includes 1-2 library books tailored to YOUR likes and dislikes, plus fun activities, freebies and snacks you can keep! Just tell us a little about yourself when you register - what you like to read, what interests you - and we'll take it from there. Every month, we'll invite you to review the books you received so we can help you find other books you'll love!

Tails & Tales: Teen Summer Reading 2021 Pre-registration begins May 14th! ACC Baxter Street From June 1st-July 30th, track the number of pages you read in Beanstack, our online reading log, to earn digital badges and fun prizes. Y ou can also spin the prize wheel at the Teen Desk any time you check out a book from the ACC Baxter Street Library! After June 1st, you can pick up a welcome packet at the library with all the program details, along with a free book to get you started! You can also go online now to Beanstack and update or create your reading log account. Pre-registration for the 2021 Teen Challenge begins May 14th!

Teen Take & Make Kits Monday, May 10th & Monday, May 24th Teens in grades 6-12 can stop by the Baxter Street Library to pick up a craft kit every 2nd and 4th week of the month. Pickup starts on Monday, but kits are available as long as supplies last. Week of May 10th - Mini-Mobile Kits: We've got special kits this week, put together with help from UGA students in the Human Development & Family Science department! Create a soothing mobile using beads, wood tiles, and paint. Small enough to fit in your locker - or anywhere else! Week of May 24th - Invisible Ink Kits: Another contribution from UGA students in the HDFS department! This kit contains everything you need to make your own invisible ink, and reveal the secret messages written with it!

Teen Book Club Tuesday, May 11, 5:30pm Online Our online Teen Book Club meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month. It's open to all teens in grades 8-12 in the ARLS region, and focuses on Young Adult titles. In May, we're reading and discussing We Were Liars by E. Lockhart.
