Summer Reading Program
Summer Reading Is Here!

Join MRLS in welcoming summer by signing up for our Summer Reading Program!

This year the Brunswick County Library's program will be held from June 1 to July 30, and the Richardson Memorial Library's program from July 1 to August 31. Main events for both branches will be held on Thursdays in July, and feature Mad Science, Krendl the Magician, a demonstration by 4H, and Uncle Henry's live animal show. Monday Movies and Make & Take Craft Days will be held in June at BCL and August at RML.

Kids ages 0 to 17 can keep track of the books they read on their Reading Log. When they reach the reading goal for their age group, they will receive a certificate and a free book! Readers who read the most books in their age group will win the Top Reader Grand Prize. Sign up at your closest branch and pick up a registration bag with everything they'll need + some extra goodies!

Adults ages 18 and up can complete a Book Bingo card to be entered into a drawing for a gift card. Sign up at your closest branch and pick up a (reusable!) registration bag + some fun extras.
