Curbside FAQs/Reminders
Why do I need to make an appointment to pick up my holds?
Appointments help ensure that we have time to prepare your items and follow social distancing guidelines. We currently schedule 3 appointments per 15 minute block. With 84 slots available each weekday and 39 on Saturday, we usually have same day availability.

How can I make an appointment?
Select a time online or call us at 608-838-9030. If online appointments are full and you need your items today, give us a call and we will do our best to fit you in.

Can I pick up holds for other family members?
Yes! Just let us know when you make your appointment (if booking online, let us know in the Notes for Library Staff field).

Curbside Reminders:
  • With winter weather approaching, please pull up so our staff can access your car from the curb cut. If another car is there already, please pull in behind them if possible and pull forward when they leave.
  • When you arrive, please call our curbside office with your name and vehicle description.
  • Please pop your trunk or roll down a back window before we reach your car and help us maintain 6 feet of social distancing if possible. Our staff are wearing masks and we appreciate when our patrons do too!
  • Pet owners--we love to see your furry friends, but please keep them restrained if we are placing items through a window. They may react unexpectedly to a stranger's arm reaching inside.
