Social Justice and Summer Reading The two don't need to be mutually exclusive... Welcome to the most unique summer reading we have ever hosted. There might not be scratch tickets this summer but we ARE introducing a new online summer reading program, READsquared, that has us all very excited. It is an online program for children, teens and adults that will work for individuals and for families. There is also a downloadable app so you can do summer reading on the go. http://abingtonpl.readsquared.com/ Now, what is out there to read? As we look at world events, it is easy to feel at a loss for what to do. Thankfully, there is something we can all do. We can read. We can read to learn more, we can read to be entertained, and we can read to get a different point of view. You will find several links in the newsletter that highlight just some of the books related to social justice that we own at the APL. Looking for more? Please ask.

It's a Mystery Need a challenge for the summer? This is a list of adult mystery books set in all 50 states. Our friend Kristin from Cohasset started off this list and was kind enough to share. Our very own Miss Liz filled in the rest. Pack your bags and let us know how many states you manage to "visit"!
