New Community Health Center Public Awareness Campaign Community Health Centers throughout the Commonwealth are open and accepting patients, and this campaign encourages residents to continue to seek care for their medical conditions and reminds individuals not to delay treatment as a result of the COVID-19 public health emergency. In additional to implementing additional, onsite safety protocols, many Community Health Centers have introduced and expanded telehealth care options. Furthermore, MassHealth contracts with three telehealth providers to offer additional support for members with questions about symptoms that might be related to COVID-19.

Food4Vets Massachusetts Military Support Foundation will be distributing free meals to Veterans at their empowerment center in Foxborough, MA. To participate you simply complete a short form and then will be provided with specific instructions regarding hours of operation and procedures for safe pickup in a confirmation email. Each box distributed to a veteran contains non-perishable food supplies which should be sufficient to cover meals for 10-14 days for two people.

Moby-Dick Marathon The New Bedford Whaling Museum's annual Moby-Dick Marathon takes place each winter and runs for 25 consecutive hours. Melville aficionados, scholars, and others enter a lottery months in advance for their chance to be a part of the reading. Since this year's event has been moved online, the museum has been releasing nightly, hour-long segments of past marathons, but has saved the reading of the last leg of this iconic novel for readers (chosen in a random drawing) participating from home! Get cozy as you listen or follow along each evening.
