The Library is Open for Browsing
The library is reopening to the public on Monday, August 3rd, with limited hours. Some hours will be reserved for seniors (10-11 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). See full hours of operation below.
Please note that while a collection of browseable items has been set up, the main stacks will be inaccessible in order to continue to quarantine items for curbside pickup, which will continue indefinitely.
Library staff will be happy to assist you in retrieving items from the closed stacks, ordering items from other libraries participating in delivery, and placing holds on items that are checked out.
We ask that you limit your visit to a half-hour for browsing, and one-hour for computer use. Computers are limited due to social distancing.
The curbside pickup service will move inside the library, in front of the Fireplace Room. Curbside pickup hours will remain the same, but if you are picking up after the library's open hours you will need to ring the doorbell in the lobby and a staff member will retrieve your items and bring them to the door for you.
Not comfortable coming into the library during its open hours but still want to participate in curbside? Ring the bell and we will be happy to bring your items to the lobby for you.
Occupancy limits will apply in all areas of the library.
To visit the Children's Room, you must make an appointment by calling #781-545-8727 and making a 20-minute reservation.
To visit the Teen Room, you do not need a reservation but only three visitors will be allowed at one time, and visits should be limited to 20 minutes.
