  • Read, attend a Library event, or complete a fun activity to earn the weekly badge and enter the prize drawing. You can earn a different badge each week.

Family Fun Night: Circus Show!

Slim Chance's Circus of Possibilities combines classic circus, vaudeville and slapstick comedy into a multitude of magical moments and surprises. All ages welcome. Doors open at 6:50pm, and the show begins at 7:00pm.

 Join us at Manor Branch Library for some early literacy fun.  We'll read some tales about camping followed by an interactive mixed media S'mores craft.

Come join us at Manor Branch Library as we learn to make pop up cards for a variety of occasions. Come join the fun with local artist Susan Deming.

DIY Memory Lab
Community Scanning Day:
Summer in San Leandro
Saturday, July 2, 11:30am-12:30pm & 
1:30pm-3:30pm at the San Leandro History Museum
 
What San Leandro summer memories do you have? Dig up those photos and preserve your memories at our community scanning day!  Staff will assist in scanning photos and documents (please provide your own storage for your digital copies). Participants are also invited to contribute digital copies to the Library and Museum's Historic Photo Collection.   
  
Appointments are for 30 minutes with a limit of up to 10 items to scan.  Make an appointment online or call 510-577-3971. 

The community scanning day is part of the San Leandro Library's DIY Memory Lab, a free, do-it-yourself space for the digitization and transfer of photos, documents, and audiovisual recordings to help members of the community preserve personal histories and recorded memories for the future. Operating hours for the DIY Memory Lab at the Main Library will be announced by the end of the month.
