See what's happening at the Library!
October 2020
The most recent Alameda County Health Officer Order allows libraries to reopen at less than 25% capacity starting October 9, 2020. The San Leandro Public Library is developing a plan to reopen our buildings as soon as possible to provide access to the collection and the public computers. This plan includes making modifications to library spaces and training library staff on required protocols including how best to clean and disinfect the many components of our Libraries.  While we plan for reopening, I am happy to announce that we are extending our curbside pickup and material returns from two days a week to four days a week, beginning the week of October 19. We will continue to offer virtual programs, digital resources and email/phone reference services. The safety of the public and our staff is of utmost priority.  We appreciate your patience and support.
