Library Operations Update
Have you had a chance to visit the Main Library since we had our limited reopening? A few of our processes have changed, so please read below to learn more about what to expect when you visit:

Holds – Did you get a notice that you have a hold ready? Holds are now self-service and located near the self-checkout machines on the first floor. Locate your item(s) by looking for your last name, first name, and the last four digits of your library barcode on the hold slip. Then, walk the item(s) over to the self-checkout machine, check them out, and you’re all set!

Signing up for a library card – You can now apply for a library card online! Fill out your application before you arrive, or use one of our on-site library card application computers. Please write down and bring your 6-digit temporary library card number to our Circulation desk. Our clerks will then verify your information and get you a physical card. Learn more by visiting our website.

Returns – All materials should still be returned in the outside bookdrop slots so they can be quarantined for at least 24 hours. Currently, only the Main Library bookdrops are open.
