January 2021 Updates
We're open for Curbside Pick-up!
The Ontario Ministry states, library services have been provided an exception to offer specific services and may be open for contactless curbside pick-up.  We ensure that circulating materials returned to the library are quarantined for a period of 72 hours before they are recirculated, and we ensure that contact information is recorded.
 
Curbside Hours
Tuesday - 10 am to 3 pm
Wednesday - 1 to 6 pm
Thursday - 10 am to 3 pm
Patrons must wear
a mask while participating in Curbside Pick-up. 
In 2020 - despite COVID-19 - we were active @ PSPL.
 
We had 17,149 visitors in the library.
 
We had 933 Curbside Pick-ups.
We developed 88 Kids' Learning Portals. 
We catalogued 2,122 items, valued at $45,220
We hand picked 100 Mystery Bags.
 
We answered 2,222 phone calls.
We developed 91 Adult Learning Portals.

Mystery Bags
Do you enjoy the element of surprise? Check out a Mystery Bag!  Choose your genre and item type, and we will hand-pick a selection of items for you to enjoy.  Please call in advance for curbside pick-up. 
Ontario Parks Day Pass
You can now borrow a Day-Use Vehicle Permit to Ontario parks from your library.  The passes will provide day use for one vehicle and its occupants, allowing access to over 100 provincial parks.  This program is part of the Healthy Parks Healthy People initiative. Reserve your pass at Parry Sound Public Library online or by phone.
 
Craft-To-Go
For the month of February - When you check out three or more children's books from PSPL, you will receive a fun Craft-To-Go kit for each child in your family!
