A Message from Library Director Dana Barber Dear Library Community, Happy New Year! On behalf of the entire Grundy Library staff, I wish you and your loved ones a healthy and peaceful 2021. As a reminder, the Grundy Library building is currently closed to the public in order to best protect our staff and patrons. However, we are still here for you! Take advantage of these services while our building is closed: · Material returns in outdoor return box Stay informed with the following resources: As always, thank you for your support and understanding. We look forward to the time when we can safely reopen the library building to the public. And now for a quick construction update! Throughout the holiday season, work on the Grundy rooftop construction project has steadily progressed. Demolition of existing structures is complete and our new roof will soon be installed. A huge thank you to our patrons and neighbors for your patience and understanding during this ongoing construction. We know you will be excited with the results! Grab Bags include 5-8 hand picked titles on a topic of your choosing! Whether books, music, or movies, Grab Bags are available for children, teens, and adults. Binge Boxes The Margaret R. Grundy Library has a collection of binge boxes, which are themed assortments of DVDs, assembled in one box for your binge-ing pleasure! Such themed boxed are: "Chick Flicks", "Studio Ghibli", "True Crime", "Rocky" and "Period Dramas". Reserve yours by calling 215.788.7891 and arrange for a curbside pick-up.

Playaway Launchpads The library offers a collection of circulating tablets pre-loaded with educational and recreational content for kids, teens, and adults. Search by "Playaway Launchpad" in the library catalog to see the various titles.

NASA Backpacks A night sky meteor shower is always fun to watch! The Lyrid meteor showers are coming in April 2021. Get ready to gaze at the dark sky more intently! Check out a NASA Explorer backpack that can be borrowed from the Grundy Library with your library card.
