National Library Card Sign-Up Month
September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month, a time when libraries nationwide join together to remind parents, caregivers and students that signing up for a library card is the first step towards academic achievement and lifelong learning. This year we are combining Food for Fines with National Library Card Sign-Up Month to give people more options to bring down their fines. Every can of food donated will reduce your fines by $1.00 and help someone in need! This month only, receive a replacement library card for free! You can also speak to a Patron Account Specialist every Saturday in September at the Main Library to help get you back on track!
MPL Open House
Saturday, September 1st
10 am - 2 pm
To celebrate National Library Card Sign-up Month, MPL is hosting an open house at the Main Library! Drop by and enjoy some cookies and refreshments and rediscover all of the programs and services that the library has to offer. Visit with one of our Patron Account Specialists to get your library account back on track for the new school year.
