IRS Forms Have Arrived Free copies of the 2021 1040 and 1040-SR Booklet (which also includes Schedules 1-3), as well as the 1040/1040-SR instructions, are available on a first-come, first serve basis in the library's vestibule.

Conference Rooms Are Back We've reopened our two conference rooms, which can again be reserved up to 30 days in advance. However, conference room capacity is restricted to 20 people or less in order to ensure social distancing. Our group study rooms may also be reserved up to 7 days in advance, with a limit of 3 people.

Register Now for Winter Storytime In-person preschool storytimes (for ages 2-4) resume on February 3rd. Back-to-back 20 minute sessions will be held in order to keep the program small and safely social-distanced. Masks are also required. To register, please visit our online Events Calendar.

German Scots-Irish in VirginiaDuring the 18th century, thousands of German and Scots-Irish families travelled south through the Valley of Virginia to southwest Virginia, the Carolinas, Kentucky, Tennessee. Daniel Thorp, associate professor of history at Virginia Tech, will talk about the pioneers who made this trek, their experience on the road, and the communities they established.
