This graphic novel explores gender identity, friendship, creativity, and coming into one's own despite familial pressures and expectations. A prince hires a talented dressmaker in secret to design him beautiful gowns that he wears under a different identity. The pair grows close as the dressmaker is the prince's only confidant about this side of himself he dares not share with his family, but their relationship is tested when this secret inhibits the dressmaker's ability to branch out and become her own designer.
