The Athens County Public Libraries' GIRLS WHO CODE program received a STEM Talent Pipeline educational grant from Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) to buy new laptops! The purpose of the grant is to support the local community’s science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs.
GIRLS WHO CODE, a national movement dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology, fosters bravery, sisterhood, activism, and resilience through teaching the skill of computer coding.
This year we’re taking our local club online!
We will meet virtually every Wednesday at 4:30 PM beginning in October.
All 3rd through 12th graders welcome!
