For families with kids ages 6-12: Build your own tower, and then see if it's strong enough to hold up against a windstorm! Families will work together to build the tower, test it against a windstorm, then figure out what makes a firm foundation.

In this five-week session, parents and caregivers of toddlers (12-36 months) are encouraged to spend time together, play, experience art activities, and meet new friends. A community resource specialist will be available each week to discuss child development, speech and hearing, nutrition, play and movement. Five-week session for parents/caregivers with children ages 12 - 36 months. Registration is required for each family.

Tai Chi for Seniors

Tai Chi is a program that has been shown to aid in prevention of falls, reduce chronic arthritis pain, improve flexibility and balance. The program is based on studies from Dr. Paul Lam. The class will be led by Jan Young, certified Tai Chi instructor.

Sentimental Journey: Songs That Brought the Boys Home

An unforgettable journey through the war years, Jody Ingalls traces the story of WWII through iconic songs of the time, performed in character as some of the favorite voices of the day, including the Andrews Sisters and Vera Lynn. Waltz through the 1940s with such favorites as "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree," "I'll Be Seeing You," and many more. Hear first hand, in-character accounts of how songs of the era kept hope alive during WWII and how they still inspire today. After, enjoy exclusive photos, stories, and characters from the Fort Knox of 1945.
