But these concepts are embedded in great read-aloud picture books, songs and movement, and lots of art and craft activities, so they are entertaining and fun!

Kids Book Club Do you know a kid who likes to read? Students ages 8 and up are always invited to our Kids Book Club on Thursday afternoons. . . .with snacks! This month we are reading Amina’s Voice by Hena Khan, a new novel that brings to life the joys and challenges of a young Pakistani American and highlights the ways in which one girl's voice can help bring a diverse community together. Coming in June: Loser’s Club by Andrew Clements.
