The Library will host music and craft activities during the day of the Christmas Stroll, Saturday, December 7 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM. Lovely harp and vocal music can be enjoyed upstairs in the Library from 2:00 - 4:00 PM, while children create homemade tree ornaments in the Children’s Room. Local choir and orchestra music begins in the large Community Room at 3:00 PM until doors to the Library close at 7:00 PM. ILL Winter Break No NEW requests will be submitted from December 1 through January 1 due to Lending Library holiday closures, mail slowdowns, and records maintenance. The ILL office is still open for processing existing requests from November, renewal requests, and returns.

Saturday, 12/21, 4:00 PM Library Front Plaza Greater Gallatin Homeless Action Coalition invite you to take a few moments to remember those who have passed away while homeless in our community this year. There will be a candlelight vigil, messages of grief, hope, and resilience, and hot chocolate.

This workshop offers effective parenting techniques that help you reduce conflict, create teamwork, and foster loving connections with your family. Monday, 12/23, 2:00 PM & 3:00 PM Large Community Room Children ages 3-8 are invited to make small homemade gifts at our annual Secret Gift Shop. Sign up is required for this program! Attention Monday Roblox PlayersWe are sad to announce that the Library will be ending our Roblox Open Play program on Monday afternoons. The last meeting will be on Monday Dec. 16th. You are still welcome to play Roblox whenever you like on our computers downstairs in the Children’s Room!

Finals are just around the corner) but the Library has you covered. From Tuesday thru Thursday, January 21-23, take advantage of extra study space set aside just for teens from 3:30-5:30 pm each day and then enjoy a Finals De-Stress Study Break each evening from 5:30-6:30pm. We'll have hot tea and cocoa station, de-stress activities, and a visit from Anne & her dog Winnie from Pet Partners!

Wednesday, 12/4, 6:00 PM Large Community Room International Film Night is a new monthly series at Bozeman Public Library, showing a foreign film the first Wednesday of every month at 6 PM. Monday, 12/9, 6:00 PM Large Community Room Come relive history that happened many centuries ago and see modern Israel. Jay Mennenga will present a program about his recent trip to Israel, where viewers will experience a slideshow of what he saw and learned, including ancient civilizations and locations where Jesus lived, died, and was resurrected.

Fridays, 3:00 -5:00 Upstairs Lab Join us and learn how to crochet in our three part series. We will have supplies to make the projects and patrons will be able to borrow our crochet hooks or bring their own (size G,H or J) Classes will be held in the Lab. Monday, December 16, 1:00 - 3:00 PM Upstairs Lab Learn to sew an infinity scarf or headband! We will have fabric to choose from, but feel free to bring your own if you have something specific in mind. This class is for ages 18 and up. Registration is required and begins on 12/2. Sewing Open Lab switches to Thursday afternoons, 1:00 - 2:30 PM, starting December 5th.
