Research shows that playing chess improves a child’s thinking, problem-solving, reading, and math scores. And it’s a skill that they have for life! Think about introducing your child to chess by attending our weekly Chess Club with mentor Travis Kidd.

Free tax help provided by certified volunteers is available to assist low or moderate income taxpayers complete basic tax returns for Federal and State taxes. All ages are welcome for tax assistance!
This service is offered by appointment on Tuesdays during tax season from February 6-April 17. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 586-6641. This service is sponsored by AARP Tax Aid.

Tuesdays (See Events calendar for times.) Lynda.com offers over 6000 classes, one of which is "Learning Tinkercad with Kacie Hultgren." Tinkercad is the software the Library uses to design original 3D models. If you’d like to design your own creation to print on our 3D printer for free, take the online course and then stop by one of our Tinkercad help sessions on Tuesdays in February.
