Saturday, February 2 9:00AM - 1:00PM Community Connect is a one-day, one-stop event in Bozeman that brings together community volunteers to provide families and individuals access to services. This community-led event will provide a wide array of services including medical care, housing assistance, employment assistance, haircuts, veterans services and more. The Bookmobile will be at Community Connect from 9:00-12:00. In conjunction with Greater Gallatin United Way we will be giving away books and literacy kits for children.

Wednesdays, February 6 through March 13 9 - 10:30 AM “Raising Your Spirited Child” Parenting Class or “Surviving and Thriving with an Infant Who is More Intense, Alert, Sensitive, Active, and Struggles to Sleep” with Dr. Mary Sheedy Kurcinka, author of Raising Your Spirited Child and the upcoming Raising Your Spirited Infant Six free parenting classes will be held Wednesdays from 9-10:30am, February 6 to March 13 at the Bozeman Public Library. The classes are limited to 15 parents; caregivers are encouraged to attend all 6 workshops. Register on the Kids page of the library website. After School Programs Visiting the Library after school can be a great time to browse and relax after a school day, and kids can also attend any of our popular programs. LEGO Club is held every Monday from 3:45-5 for builders of all ages, or kids can head upstairs to the Lab for Roblox play. On Wednesdays kids can practice reading aloud to a dog or play Minecraft. Readers ages 8 and up can join our monthly Kids Book Club which meets one Thursday a month at 4pm. Pokemon fans get together most Friday afternoons; they are looking for a few more parent volunteers. Tuesday, February 19 6:30 PM School-age kids and a parent are invited to the final STEAM program on Tuesday, February 19 at 6:30pm in the Community Room. Kids will use geometry to create hearts and snowflakes! For more information, call the Children’s Desk at 582-2404. There will be no STEAM Night in March.

Books and Babies Join Books and Babies every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 10am, and every Tuesday and Thursday at 1! Rhymes, singing, and relaxed play time for infants 0-2 with a parent or caregiver.

Teen Game NightThursday, February 21 5:00 - 7:00 PM Teen Game Night is back! Now happening on the 3rd Thursday of each month, Teen Game Night is a chance play some new board games, see if you can master some retro video games, or just hang out with friends. Teen Game Night is in the upstairs Lab (for 6th grade and up).

Yoga For All Tuesdays 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM Yoga for all abilities is held every Tuesday at 11:00 AM and again at 12:00 PM. All abilities are welcome! Please bring your own mat. We have some blocks and straps you are welcome to use.

Friday, February 15th 2:30-3:00pm Have you tried out the library's new digital magazine resource? RBDigital offers access to magazines such as Backpacker, National Geographic, Vogue, and more! This class will give a brief demonstration of how to access issues online, download the RBDigital app, create an account, and check out a magazine. BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) if possible and your library card. Registration for the class is not required.

Tuesdays through April 16 10:00 AM- 6:00 PM Free tax help provided by certified volunteers is available to assist low or moderate income taxpayers complete basic tax returns for Federal and State taxes. These trained volunteers can help with earned income credit, child tax credit, education credits, and homeowner/renter credit. All ages are welcome for tax assistance!
This service is offered by appointment on Tuesdays during tax season from February 5 - April 16 in the Conference Room, from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Appointments are required and can be made by calling (406) 586-6641 or (406) 587-8666. This service is sponsored by AARP Tax Aid.

12:00 - 1:00PM MSU String Showcase: Students of Angella Ahn and Julia Slovarp playing duets, trios, and quartets. This popular chamber music series is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Montana Chamber Music Society, the Montana Arts Council and hosted by the Bozeman Library Foundation.

3:00- 5:00 PM Join us in the Lab and create an artistic masterpiece out of seeds! This fun crafternoon is known as crop art, and creates mosaics using seeds.
