5:00 - 7:00 PM We are excited to welcome this fun band from Billings, MT to our lawn! Pan Blanco is an original ensemble that strives to see people dance and toss away their troubles. This band plays West African, Funk, Soul, Salsa, Jazz, and R&B. Music on the Green is a free family-friendly event made possible by individual donations to the Library Foundation and other generous sponsors. Salsa lessons by Kerie Hagler will be offered before the show at 4:30, and there will be tacos from Taco Montes and ice pops from Frio available for purchase.

Making Fairy and Elf Houses

Bring found materials from nature: pinecones, twigs, pebbles, bark, moss and other cool stuff gathered on your next hike in the woods to create small fairy and elf houses. A sturdy piece of bark is a great base, and we will provide glue guns to hold it all together.
Family Concert with Jack & Kitty

Join us for a lively after-lunch concert with Jack & Kitty, playing organic vaudeville & jug bank folk for kids and families! Meet us in the Community Room at 1pm for a musical celebration of “Libraries Rock!”
Will you be the last human standing or will you be one of the zombie horde? Come find out at our yearly end-of-summer Teen Zombie Nerf War! Some Nerf guns and ammo provided but we encourage you to bring you own. This will also be the time of the Summer Reading Raffle! (You do not have to be present to win). Ages 12 and up, pizza/snacks provided. Registration required online!
Each Friday we'll host a workshop from 3-4:30pm, alternating each Friday between Live Action Role Play/Cosplay building workshops and music-themed craft workshops. July 6 is a Sound Wave Art workshop, July 20 is a Program Your Own Music Box workshop, and July 13 /July 27 will be LARP/Cosplay building workshops. Registration required online!
If you play an instrument or sing, join us for an informal open mic on Fridays at 12:30 to play a song or two for other kids and families during our free summer lunch program. No registration necessary; come if you can! Grand piano is available; all others bring your own instruments please.
Running from June 1 to July 31, Bozeman Public Library and Belgrade Community Library will holding a contest to see which town's teens can read the most pages this summer. Page counts can be submitted in person at at both libraries by filling out a contest book review form. If you're on the road this summer but still want to compete, Bozeman Public Library will also have an online entry form for teens to submit their reading info and page counts. Eternal glory, bragging rights and an epic trophy go to the winning library at the end of the summer!

Yoga for All continues through July every Tuesday at 11:00AM and noon in the Large Community Room. Certified yoga instructors Terra Kopf (teaches at 11) and Brooke Russell (teaches at noon) lead these classes.
The morning class follows Books and Babies and tends to have more children, but all are welcome! Please bring your own mat, though we have some mats, blocks, and straps available.
And in the community! We will be outside the library, promoting the bookmobile and our awesome programs at the Bogart Farmer's Market on Tuesday, July 11 and Tuesday, July 31 from 5:00 - 8:00PM. We'll be doing fun crafts. Come say hello and see what your library is up to!
