Our Yellowstone is a collaboration of our community’s leading experts and organizations in celebration of our first National Park. This exhibition will feature authors, biologists, historians, and artists alongside immersive experiences for adults and children. Hear the sounds of the Park with the Yellowstone Acoustic Atlas. Enjoy a special Yellowstone Children’s Activity Day with instructors from the Yellowstone Forever Institute. Share your story at a live Story Slam event. Monday, September 24 Registration @ 5:30 Trivia @ 6:15 MAP Brewing Banned Books Week is September 23-29! To celebrate the freedom to read, Bozeman Public Library, Montana State University Library, The Country Bookshelf, and the ACLU of Montana bring you a fun night of Banned Books Trivia at MAP Brewing! Compete as an individual or as a team (up to 4 people). An award will be given for spirit, so be creative with your literary team names and costumes! MAP's Community Pint Night starts at 4 PM and proceeds from this evening will be donated to the Freedom to Read Foundation, which protects and defends the First Amendment to the Constitution and supports the right of libraries to collect - and individuals to access - information.

Thursdays @ 6:30 Bozeman Pond Park The Bozeman Public Library Bookmobile with support from Humanities MT would like to invite you to a lively evening at Bozeman Pond Park. Please bring a chair or a blanket and be prepared to be entertained by our lively historic guests. In case of inclement weather, the lecture will be held under the pavilion. Wednesday, September 26 6:30- 8 PM BPL Community Room Come to this forum to learn about each ballot initiative including, LR-128, which continues a six-mill property tax to fund the Montana State University system for 10 years; LR-129 which bans all but certain individuals from collecting another individual's ballot; I-185 which extends Medicaid expansion, and increases tobacco taxes to fund health programs and lastly I-186, which restricts new hard rock mine permits, including water quality requirements for restoration plans. Representatives from both sides of each initiative will present their issue and take questions. This bi-partisan event is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voter, the Bozeman Business and Professional Women and Bozeman Public Library.

Wednesday, September 19 6 PM Broken Ground Gardens Your garden is winding down, you're bringing in the harvest, and you're ready for a little rest and relaxation after a busy growing season. But wait! There are a few things you might want to do before putting away your gardening gloves for the season. Join Kareen Erbe of Broken ground to learn what steps you need to take to put your garden to bed this fall. This session will be off site and also include a tour of Broken Ground's property. Saturday, October 13 @5:30 PM This year our Library Gala, Starry Starry Night, will be Saturday, October 13, 5:30 PM, at Riverside Country Club. We will be honoring Dr. Loren Acton, physicist, astronaut and champion of community libraries, with the Cornerstone Award. Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner and bid on unique auction items donated by local businesses. Reserve your seats online here. Seating is limited and must be reserved no later than September 22nd.

Yoga Returns Inside Tuesdays @ 11 AM and 12 PM We hope you enjoyed yoga outside for August. Yoga for All starts up again Tuesday, September 4 at 11 AM and 12 PM in the Large Community Room. Each class is taught by a certified yoga instructor, Terra Kopf at 11 AM and Brooke Russell at noon. All are welcome to either class, please bring your own mat – we have some blocks and straps.
