Free workshops include drawing, cartooning, printmaking, painting, drumming, juggling, yoga and more!

The Bozeman Public Library Foundation presents Music on the Green with David Gerald. Detroit bluesman David Gerald’s dynamic, blues-infused rock and soul hybrid has been captivating audiences across the country for over a decade. His sound has been compared to BB King and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Gerald was recently listed as #1 on ReverbNation for Michigan blues artists. Music on the Green is a free family-friendly event made possible by individual donations to the Library Foundation and by our generous sponsors: NorthFork Financial, Sweet Pea Festival, Heebs East Main Grocery, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, and North-Western Energy.

Tuesdays in August 12:00 PM Yoga for All will continue the month of August – only outside! The Community Room is being used for Creative Workshops, so we’re taking class outside every Tuesday at Noon (the 11am class will return in September.) Yoga instructors Terra Kopf and Brooke Russell will teach this all-abilities class while enjoying the beauty of the summer season. It will be weather-dependent and participants will need their own mat. Meet on the east side of the Library, we’ll be just inside Lindley Park, across the bridge in the shade of the large trees. For more information, call Sarah at 582-2425.
