OBOI: Carriage Rides at MHI Saturday, March 16 from 12:00-3:00 pm The library is offering free tours of the MHI grounds by horse-drawn carriage! A map of the campus will be provided. No registration; rides will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Please meet on the MHI grounds in the Cromwell Unit parking lot on the south side of campus.

OBOI: MHI Tours* Saturday, March 16 @ 10:00 and @ 1:00 pm Mike Cook will lead a tour of many parts of the Independence Mental Health Institute including some tunnels and the museum. Advanced registration was required and all spots are currently filled.

Dungeons & Dragons* Sunday, March 17 @ 1:30 pm This legendary, fantastical role-playing game is centered on storytelling in worlds of swords and sorcery. Advanced registration is required for teens ages 12-16.More info here.

iTAB Meeting Monday, March 18 @ 4:00 pm This group of dedicated teens is designed to energize teen programming and services, as well as allow teens a greater voice at the library. We meet monthly to discuss books, movies, ideas, volunteer opportunities; plan upcoming events; and talk about what’s going on. More here.

OBOI: Fostering Animals Mon, March 18 @ 6:30 All ages are invited to learn more about fostering animals with Ronda Reid from the Otter Creek Animal Shelter and long-time foster parents Pete and Terry Gaumer, along with a few animals.

Wednesday, March 20 @ 6:30 pm Building Direction for Families (BDF) and the library are co-sponsoring a viewing of this powerful 60-minute documentary open to the public relating to Adverse Childhood Experiences and the links to destructive behavior. OBOI: Escape the Game*
Friday, March 22 @ 5:00 or 6:00 pm Players must work together in “live Clue” fashion to solve a series of critical thinking puzzles based on popular board games in order to break into a tightly locked box before time runs out. Teens in grades 6-12 can register for this event; register for the 5:00 pm or 6:00 pm start time. For more information, click here.
