Wood Carving Workshop and Painting* Saturday, October 20 Carve @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Paint @ 1:00-3:00 pm Registration currently full Carve a wooden Santa with the guidance of local artist Steve Russell. The step-by-step carving workshop will take place in the morning. After a break with luncheon refreshments, stay to paint their carving in the afternoon. All supplies will be provided.

Dungeons & Dragons* Sunday, October 21 @ 1:30 pm This legendary, fantastical role-playing game is centered on storytelling in worlds of swords and sorcery. Teens ages 12-16 work together and may explore a dark dungeon, a ruined castle, or a lava filled cavern. The adventurers will need to solve puzzles, escape traps, combat monsters and build friendships to overcome the challenges. Registration is required. For more information, click here.

Book Discussion and Potluck Monday, October 22 @ 6:30 pm The Book Discussion group is shaking it up this month! Readers can choose to read any book written by Diane Mott Davidson. An optional activity is to prepare one of the recipes in the book and bring it to share for a potluck.

The Great American Read Bracket Due Monday, October 22 The Great American Read: Grand Finale Tuesday, October 23 @ 6:30 pm The Great American Read is an eight-part PBS series that explores and celebrates the power of reading while determining America's favorite novel from a list of 100. Learn more about it here. Join the "madness" and stop in the library to fill out a Great American Read bracket by Monday evening to see if you can predict the winner. The winning novel will be announced during the final TV episode Tuesday, October 23rd. Join us in the Community Room for the Watch Party when the winner is revealed! Popcorn will be provided. Boo Bash Friday, October 26 from 5:00-7:00 pm The library staff and volunteers will be brewing up fun for families at the Falcon Center. All ages can drop in to enjoy games, crafts, snacks, and a photo booth to celebrate Halloween.
