Happy Thanksgiving to you all! We are thankful to have you all in our library lives. We are open Wednesday, November 27, 10 - 2, and closed Thursday, November 28 for the holiday. Daisy Troop 70811 is collecting socks for men, women and children at area shelters throughout the month of November. The Dighton Public Library is a drop-off for donations. Thank you for supporting this wonderful cause. Lastly, the library will be closed Monday, November 11 in honor of Veterans Day. Thank you to all who have served.

Massachusetts Serial Killers Tuesday, November 12 at 7:00 Old Town Hall, 1111 Somerset Avenue, Dighton Get inside the minds of three of Massachusetts's most notorious serial killers and learn how to create a profile of these murderers. Christopher Daley is a local historian and the author of Murder & Mayhem in Boston: Historic Crimes in the Hub.

India from Cutie Curls is back to show you how to make your own decorative frame. Please call if you are interested - your placement on the waitlist will give you priority for future classes.

The Friends of the Dighton Public Library have brought back their popular gift card fundraiser. If you are someone who likes to give gift cards for the holidays, you can order them at the library and pick them up here. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the library through the Friends. Order forms are available at the library, or here. The first order will be placed on Wednesday, November 13. The final order will be placed Wednesday, December 4. Please contact the library with any questions you may have. The Friends has a tree in the Festival of Trees at Araujo's. You can purchase a chance to win this tree, along with the others until December 1, at Araujo's. |
