We keep telling ourselves summer does not end until September 23. But that doesn't mean we aren't planning for the fall or preparing for the start of school. Our summer hours are soon ending, and we will be open Saturdays, 10 - 2, starting September 7.
We have planned different programs throughout the fall. Be on the lookout for more craft programs and a holiday cooking demonstration. We also will hold a presentation on the first amendment and the press and one on serial killers in Massachusetts this fall. It's at least an eclectic mix of information to share! We were thrilled to be a part of the Kindergarten and First Grade homework assignment for Dighton Elementary. Kids came in to get their library cards over the summer. Do you have your card? Do you know anyone who needs one? September is Library Card Signup month. Spread the word! Enjoy your Labor Day weekend. The library will be closed Monday, September 2 for the holiday.
