Holiday HoursThe library is currently operating on Winter Hours. The Library will be closed on Monday, February 18 in observance of Presidents Day. The Library will be closed on Friday, March 1 for our annual Staff Training Day.

Library Pajama Day Friday, February 8 We're wearing our pajamas to work on Friday, Februrary 8 to encourage you to donate NEW pajamas to the Annual Boston Bruins/Cradles to Crayons PJ Drive. Your donations will benefit local youth in Southeastern MA involved with the Department of Children and Families. YOU can help a child stay warm this winter by donating a pair of NEW pajamas in any size for children or teens at the APL’s collection box located in the lobby of the library Feb. 1 through March 15.

Sleepy Storytime Thursday, February 14 @ 7pm For kids ages 3 & up with an adult Looking for a way to wind down at the end of the day? Join Mrs. Brown for this end-of-the-day program. "Quiet" stories, songs & activities to calm even the busiest of bodies. Siblings are welcome. Register online.

Hoot! The Secret Lives of Owls Friday, February 8, 3-4pm Children, ages 3-8, with an accompanying adult, are invited to learn about Owls with nature educator, Sarah Howdy of the Massachusetts Audubon Society. Space is limited, so register online today. Program generously funded by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

Coding, Programming and Robots… OH MY! Wednesday, February 20, 6-7pm Youth in grades 5-12 are welcome to join us for the High Tech Club! Participants will practice coding, programming, and other tech skills using robots, computer kits, IPads and more. Register by phone at 508-222-7820.

Black History Month This month's display will celebrate African American history. Check out titles celebrating African American characters and authors. Selections will include popular and award winning fiction and non-fiction titles.

Community Garden Registration Saturday, February 9 - 10:30am-12noon Wednesday, February 13 - 6pm-8pm Saturday, February 16 - 10am-12noon Registration days for the upcoming gardening season (April 6 through November 2, 2019) at the Attleboro Community Garden on Riverbank Road, open to prospective and returning gardeners. New gardeners will be placed on a waitlist on a first come basis.

2019 Seed Library Spring is coming! This March we'll be hosting gardening programs and distributing seeds to library card holders. We'll have a varied collection of flower, herb and vegetable seeds - our largest selection to date!

Great Decisions Watch for our upcoming world affairs discussion group, Great Decisions. This 8 week program produced by the Foreign Policy Association will begin Thursday, March 7 at 2pm.
