Books in Bloom Join us for our 4th annual Books in Bloom event at the Mansfield Public Library! Check out beautiful book displays that are "blooming" to life and vote for your favorite display. Book displays will be displayed throughout the whole library for the month of May and are designed by library staff, Mansfield Garden Club, QMS Book Chat Group and Helping Hands Florist in Plainville, MA. Enter to win a raffle basket! All winners will be announced on Friday May 31. Activities during our Books in Bloom celebration include the Garden Club of Mansfield’s 24th Annual Gardening on the Green Sale at Town Hall on May 18 from 9 - Noon, cookie decorating, a jazz concert, gardening and shipwreck lectures, and so much more! The Friends of the Library will be selling books all about gardening!

Classic Jazz Trio Thur., May 30 at 6:30 p.m. A 'not to be missed' event!!! The Mansfield Public Library welcomes The Classic Jazz Trio, which consists of trumpet/flugelhorn, jazz lead guitar/piano and bass guitar/upright bass.
They play music from the classic American songbook spanning from the 1920's to today with stylistic jazz improvisation. They also do some light rock, show tunes, do-wop and a little bit of country! No Registration Required. This event is free and open to all.
