Creative Journaling with Janice Dahl Saturday, July 28 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. Granby Library Saturday July 14 and August 11 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. Fraser Valley Library Come and experiment with mixed media techniques to create your own personalized journal/sketchbook. All materials are supplied, but please bring extra goodies to play with. You may attend one or all sessions. REGISTER An exhibition of Janet Dahl's pastels, watercolors, charcoals and pen and ink sketches is on display in the Fraser Valley Urban Community Meeting Room July 5 - July 19

Meet Your Forest Friday, August 24 9:00 a.m. Granby Library Foresters Ryan McNertney, Brian Slagle and Jon Morrissey have years of experience working for the Forest Services. They will address topics concerning our forests including: insect control, disease management, fire mitigation and how we can help create a healthy forest for the future. A two and one half hour forest tour begins at 10:00 a.m.

Hide-and-Seek Rock Game Juniper Library Wednesday, July 18 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m Come play our hide-and-seek rock game in recognition of the "2018 Library's Rock" Summer Reading Program. Elementary and teen aged students will enjoy painting and sealing the small rocks and then hiding them around town. There will be a message sealed on the backs of the rocks for other lucky friends to find and keep them! If they bring them into the Juniper Library they'll receive a small prize!

Country Ace Hardware Headliners Club Country Ace Hardware in Granby recognizes the importance of reading to our kids and community and has proudly supported the kids reading program since 2007. We look forward to honoring your summer reading accomplishments at Ace! Calling all kids Grades K-5. Youth Radio Tuesday, July 17 and 24 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Fraser Valley Library Learn radio production basics from Steve Skinner and the staff at local radio station KFFR.
