Friends' Fall Book and Bake SaleDate: Saturday, November 4th from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, November 5th from 12 to 2 p.m. Location: Meeting RoomDescription: Stop by the library to pick up some books and some tasty treats at the Friends' annual Fall Book and Bake Sale! All proceeds go to the Friends of the Pembroke Public Library and are used to fund "extras" for the library including discounted museum passes, best sellers, and programs for all ages. The Friends Basket Raffle winners will also be drawn on the first day of the sale, so there is still time to participate! Raffle tickets can be purchased at the main desk for $1 each or 6 for $5.

Stories in a Song: Fact, Fiction, and Somewhere in Between Date: Monday, November 6th at 6:30 p.m. Location: Meeting Room Description: Some songs tell a story, some paint a picture and some are like a snapshot in time. Come hear Dave Kelly perform some familiar songs and some you may not know. Dave will play songs by Townes Van Zandt, John Prine, Bruce Springsteen and many more.
