"Make and Take" a project to do at home!

Since July, we've handed out over 1,000 Make and Take craft kits! This month, you can choose from one of three festive wreaths, pictured below, to make and display at home. Wreaths make fun gifts, too! If you're feeling up to it, you can request the material for all three wreaths! Our staff would like to thank the Friends of the Acushnet Public Library for generously providing the material for the wreaths. Kits can be picked up during Takeout beginning Monday, 12/7.

Later in the month, we'll be offering another project, geared towards school-aged kids. Please watch our Facebook page for details.

Acushnet readers, you have outdone yourselves! Since June 2020, you have logged over 120,000 minutes of reading, surpassing every new goal we've created. For December, staff have added two new challenges, complete with their own badges and book recommendations. Click either image below to sign up and get started today. TAKEOUT AVAILABLE.
To learn more about our Takeout program, please click here. We have pre-made book bundles and can also customize item requests. Fill out a Takeout form here, call us at 508-998-0270 or email us at acuholds@sailsinc.org.

Takeout is available Mondays and Wednesdays 11-7, Tuesdays and Thursdays 1-7, Fridays 1-5 and Saturdays 10-2. Please note: there is no Takeout on Thursday, 12/24, Friday, 12/25, Thursday, 12/31 or Friday, 1/1/2021.

We are also accepting non-perishable donations for the Shepherd's Pantry during Takeout.

LIMITED COMPUTER USE.

Computers are now available by appointment only. Computers have been spaced 6 feet apart and will be sanitized between each use. Each session is limited to 45 minutes, and patrons can book 1 session per day. Please note: there are no computer sessions on Thursday, 12/24, Friday, 12/25, Thursday, 12/31 or Friday, 1/1/2021.

RETURNING ITEMS.

Items can be returned during Takeout hours or in our exterior drop 24/7. If you have overdue items, now is the time to return those items. We are fine free through the rest of 2020.

Please note: items will be quarantined for up to 7 days and will remain on your card during the quarantine process.

THINGS TO DO ONLINE.

Digital circulation is now up over 150% since last year. With your APL card, you can download through OverDrive/the Libby app and hoopla.
