Planning a visit to Horseneck Beach, Demarest Lloyd State Park, Myles Standish and more this summer? Then your first stop should be Acushnet Public Library. With a Mass State Parks pass, you'll be able to park for FREE! Check out the online Mass State Parks Guide for more info and plan a few adventures this summer.

Summer Reading Open House

As our summer program winds down, celebrate with us. Face painting and balloon art provided by Fun Faces with a Twist! Giant games on the lawn! Ice cream! A special treat for kids who have been participating in Read & Bead and Scratch to Win - don't forget your bead chains!

Summer Concert Series
Mondays, through 8/12, 6pm
In celebration of Summer, join us for our annual Summer Concert Series featuring talented musicians sharing a universe of stories through song. Concerts are held on the library lawn, or in the event of rain, the library's Community Room. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket. Performers are listed below. Author Talk: Cara Robertson Tuesday, 8/6, 6:30 PM Community Room Lawyer and legal scholar Cara Robertson brings new life to this country’s oldest true-crime saga. This book is based on over twenty years of research, including analysis of trial transcripts, newspaper articles, unpublished local reports, and recently unearthed letters from Lizzie herself.

State Rep. Hendricks Office Hours

Community Room Come meet Representative Chris Hendricks at the Library! He will be available on a walk-in basis to all residents from 10am to 12pm.
