Borrow a pass for Buttonwood Park Zoo
Available on a first-come, first-served basis
Sponsored by the Friends of the Acushnet Public Library
Planning a visit to Buttonwood Park Zoo this summer? Then your first stop should be Acushnet Public Library. Passes are valid during normal zoo hours (9AM - 5PM) on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays. Present the pass at BPZ for free admission for up to 4 people. Then return the pass to APL. Easy and FREE! We also have Zoo New England and Roger Williams Park Zoo passes available, as well as other area museums and attractions. Play & Learn Together with PACE

All families are welcome to join this NEW Acushnet Play Group for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and their parents, grandparents or caregivers! Come enjoy hands on activities: stories, songs, science, recognizing shapes and colors, and a whole lot more to keep the little ones engaged and entertained. This program is designed for all ages. Sponsored by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement program of PACE Child Care Works, with funding from the MA Department of Early Education and Care; in collaboration with the Acushnet Public Library. Space is limited, registration is preferred. Registration forms are available at the Library and can be returned to PACE Child Works. You can also email mcarlsen@paceccw.org to register. State Rep. Hendricks Office Hours

An Evening to Celebrate Portugal

Small Book Workshop
Wednesday, 6/19, 6 PM
Community Room
Participants will learn how to make small books out of calendars, scrap paper, childrens' art pictures, envelopes, wallpaper, old greeting cards, etc. All materials will be included. You may bring your own special papers. This free workshop will be led by library patron Bertha Petruski. She has taught this art form on and off for 10 years in small classes and schools. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. For older teens and adults only, please.
