Grab-and-Go Craft: Jar of Optimism Register to receive one of our new "Grab & Go" Craft Kits for adults. As the weather cools and we head indoors, it's time to get creative with a monthly craft project- materials and instructions included! This month's glitzy Grab & Go kit contains a glass mug, a metallic paint pen, 2 colors of glitter, glue, an LED votive light and templates for lettering and patterns. We hope this "Jar of Optimism" is a happy kick-off to your Holiday Season! Kits will at our drive-thru window as of November 14th. Hot Topics in Astronomy with MiSci Thursday, November 12, 7:00-8:30 pm Hot Topics in Astronomy, brought to us by MiSci, covers the latest and greatest discoveries in astronomy and planetary science. We'll be focusing on Mars exploration. With Mars2020 scheduled to land in February, we'll cover the newest discoveries on Mars, the plan for this next lander mission, and what we're looking to learn that puts us ever closer to sending humans to the red planet. Hands-On Pre-Thanksgiving Cooking Class Wednesday, November 18, 6:30-7:45 pm ZoomHave fun while making Southwest Sheet Pan Veggie Hash & Turkey Tacos (or protein of choice). Felisha Chandler of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County makes learning to cook entertaining and educational. Appropriate for all ages! You will need a computer, laptop, or tablet to see and participate in this class. Please register to join us on Zoom from your own kitchen. The list of ingredients and directions for preparation for class will be sent a week before the event. You will be emailed the link to join us on Zoom the day before the program.
