Tentative Reopening on February 8 If the current trend in COVID-19 cases continues, Manlius Library will be reopening for in-library use beginning February 8. Visits will be limited to an hour in length and all safety protocols are still in place, including the mask requirement for everyone over the age of 2. Curbside services will still be available and are encouraged. Please check our website and subscribe to our social media to stay up to date with the latest information.

Manlius Library will close on Monday, February 15 in observance of President's Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, February 16.

For Your Safety All items must be returned to our outdoor or indoor book drops. Please contact us if you have an item checked out which cannot be returned in the book drop (e-readers, Rokus, etc). All items are being placed into quarantine for a minimum of 7 days before they will be checked in and removed from your card. Masks are required, covering both nose and mouth, when using the library for curbside pickup or during open hours. Late fees will not be accrued. We are not accepting material donations at this time.

Fine FreeFines will still be charged on high-value/limited inventory items such as park passes, e-readers, and Wi-Fi kits. Items that are more than 60 days overdue will be considered lost, and the replacement cost will be charged to your account. Once a lost item is returned, the replacement charge on your account will be waived.

Every year, Manlius residents make a resounding statement about the quality of life here. Between November and February, library supporters contribute to our Annual Fund Drive. These generous contributions allow us to continue providing excellent service, a first-rate collection, and extensive programming. Monetary donations may be made year-round. Adult Winter Reading Welcome to Manlius Library Adult Winter Reading! This program is designed for patrons aged 18+ to encourage well-rounded, life-long reading habits. Running virtually this year from January 11 to March 15, there are two tracks for prizes, Winter Reading Classic, and Winterer Reading Bingo. Winter Reading Classic: Report each book you complete this summer for ten points. Every fifty points earns you a virtual raffle ticket, which can be used to enter drawings for this year’s raffle prizes, which each feature gift certificates from local businesses. Drawings will be held on Tuesday, March 16. Winter Reading Bingo: Complete fun challenges to earn tickets for the chance to win this year’s Grand Prize. A ticket is earned for each completed line. The Grand Prize drawing will be randomly selected on Tuesday, March 16. Note: To participate in both Adult Winter Reading and Film Buff Bingo, follow these easy steps: Log in to your READsquared account, and hover over to "Account" in the top right corner. Click "Add Child Account" and then select the event that you'd like to sign up for. You can then switch between tracking Film Buff Bingo and Adult Winter Reading by hovering over "Account" and clicking on "Family Accounts".

Film Buff Bingo Film Buff Bingo is a well-roundedness challenge for movie lovers aged 12+. Fill out your card from Tuesday, December 1 to Sunday, February 28. Complete your bingo card to earn entries for raffle prizes. Each completed line is worth one entry. Each of our three raffle prize baskets includes a gift card to Manlius Art Cinema, Mrs. Kelder's Cakes and other movie goodies! Prizes will be virtually drawn on Monday, March 1. Winners will be contacted immediately after the prize drawing. Make a cocoa bomb at home! Each kit has supplies to complete one project and will have written instructions. Miss Windy will also demonstrate how to build your cocoa bomb on our YouTube Channel.
