This month I have been reading books to children about being a good friend. This is an important theme for the start of a new school year and throughout the year. So, stop by the library, borrow a good book, and make a new friend. ~Ms. Robyn Hello again, I've enjoyed getting back into the routine of our programs and getting to see everyone again! We talked about "Places to Go" at Story Time in September and are looking ahead to read about "People to See" in October. I'm also very excited to say that our Home School Program is off to a good start this year. We've set off on our travels across the Untied States and are looking forward to continuing as the year progresses. Our second annual Top Chef Program went really well. We had 5 contestants who all did a marvelous job creating dishes out of tomatoes, cheese, crackers, and various extras. Congratulations to our Winners: Guinevere, Katie, and Paxton! We also have several exciting programs lined up for this month. Thanks to The Shelby Foundation, we're offering a movie and light lunch on the day off from school. My favorite part of October is Trick-or-Treat at the Library and I'm delighted to be able to do that again this year. I look forward to seeing everyone's costumes on Friday the 27th. Can you guess what Miss Jami is going to be? Happy Reading and I look forward to seeing you all at MML this month! ~Miss Jami
